Power Factor Panel

Power factor is measure of reactive power (KVAR) which is defined as the ratio of the real power (KW) flowing to the load, to the apparent power (KVA) in the circuit. Power factors below 1.0 require a utility to generate more than the minimum volt-amperes necessary to supply the real power. This increases generation and transmission costs. Sonet is a leading manufacturer of PFI Plants, our plants are built with 6-12 stages automatic power factor correction relays, magnetic contactors, HRC fuses and high-performance capacitors ranging 5-100 KVAR.
